2025-26 Week #7 Team Ratings and Rankings Released
MYHockey Rankings Week #7 team ratings and rankings are now live. This past week our admin team, volunteers, members and GameSheet API added over 16,233 game scores to MYHockey. MHR now has over 115,902 game results in the system. 14,592 teams have met the 5 game minimum to qualify for the rankings, an increase of 1,050 teams over last week.
As we move into the month November, additional ranking categories are shaping up to be released. Men’s and Women’s NCAA D1 rankings are now live, with NCAA D3 rankings looking to be released in the coming weeks. Although we are a few months into the season, more and more new teams are meeting the 5 game minimum requirement to be ranked as well. Last month was the busiest month yet for our platform. We’re grateful to welcome all the new coaches, managers, players, and families to the MHR community. And for those who have been with us for countless seasons, we’re glad to have your continued support!
As always, please review your team's game results and keep an eye out for inaccurate or erroneous game scores. An algorithm, and in return team ratings and rankings, are only as good as the data input into the system. That is especially true early in the season. A game score incorrectly assigned to the opposing club’s "AA'' team instead of the "A" team, the 18U team instead of the 16U team or a Varsity HS team instead of the JV team can all have a negative impact on the accuracy of the rankings.
