2025-26 Week #6 Team Ratings and Rankings Released
Before everyone breaks out their costumes and looks to fill their trick or treat bags with candy, MYHockey Week #6 Rankings have first arrived! This past week our admin team, volunteers, members and GameSheet API added 18,081 game scores. MYHockey Rankings now has 99,669 counting game scores in the system resulting in 13,543 ranked teams, an increase of 1,671 teams from last week.
The remaining Canada AAA, Quebec AAA, Eastern Canada AAA, Western Canada AAA ranking categories are now live along with a few more Ontario Girls categories. The majority of USA Boys and Girls and Ontario Boys and Girls ranking categories are now live. We will continue to release more and more ranking categories as different areas mature and teams reach the 5 game minimum. Keep an eye out for new Minn-Kota, High School and College rankings in the coming weeks.
There are a large number of tournaments during the eventful Halloween weekend and thus many tournament scores will be entered over the next week. Tournament game results definitely increase the odds of errors due to a lack of familiarity with opponents. But tournament games also improve the overall accuracy of the ratings if entered against the correct opponent. When entering game scores, please confirm the exact identity of your tournament opposition. Coaches name, playing level, clarifiers, etc. And if you are just a fan of the site, be prepared for larger moves by teams next week as large early season tournament weekends can shake things up.
As always, remember to keep an eye out for inaccurate or erroneous game scores.
